Accounting Research and Education Center

This institution was created for individuals who are planning to acquire the qualifications to become a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or a licensed tax accountant.  Full-time lecturers, CPAs and faculty from other universities are invited to give lectures.  Guidance on how to prepare for the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Official Business Skill Test in Book-Keeping is given at the Hiyoshi Campus, and drills involving problem solving and corrections to build a strong foundation for the CPA Examination are implemented at the Mita Campus.

There will be an open lecture on May 25, 2016: “Looking back at the various developments in accounting standards at the ASBJ:   The Globalization of the Financial and Capital Markets and the Convergence of Accounting Standards”  - Accounting Education Induction Course Organization Acting Secretary-General (CPA) and Former Vice-Chairman of the Accounting Standards Board of Japan, Takehiro Arai.

Society of Business and Commerce

The Society of Business and Commerce is where all the research information of the Faculty of Business and Commerce is consolidated.  We strive to understand global industrial society through theory and empirical studies for the purpose of identifying insights in terms of progress and change.  We publish research papers as well as periodicals on these matters.
