- 研究紹介：医療・介護サービスは，人の一生に密接にかかわる個別性の強いサービスであると同時に，国の提供する福祉サービスとして公的負担部分が多いサービスでもあります。私の研究では，医療・介護サービスの需要や供給の背景にある経済学的な特性を踏まえた上で，国内外で「医療・介護問題」として取り上げられている様々な課題を分析しています。とりわけ，日本の地域社会における医療・介護サービスの立地の問題や，そこで提供される機能や人材の効率性や持続性，結果としての医療・介護の質について，実証的な分析と提言を行っています。
