Requirements for Completing the Degrees

A. The M.A.

(Article 76, 77, and 109 of the Regulations of the Graduate School)

After at least two years of course work in the M.A. program, you are required to receive the final approval of your written thesis, pass the General Examination, and have already fulfilled the credit requirement stated above.

B. The Ph.D.

(Article 83 and 109 of the Regulations of the Graduate School)

After at least three years of course work in the Ph.D. program, you must receive the final approval of your written dissertation, pass the General Examination, and have already fulfilled the credit requirements stated above.
