The Faculty of Business & Commerce
The Faculty of Business & Commerce was created to study and research commerce in the spirit of Yukichi Fukuzawa's scientific philosophy of modern rationalism. The educational goals of the Faculty are about developing creative thinkers who are capable of applying viable solutions to actual problems, forward-looking organizational leaders able to stay one step ahead of the times. Students explore the world of modern industry from four core areas of study: Management, Accounting, Commerce, and Economy & Industry. This program trains the highest number of successful applicants for Japan's national examinations for Certified Public Accountants.
Graduate School of Business & Commerce
The Graduate School of Business & Commerce offers students the opportunity to conduct research into modern industry through four core areas of study: Management, Accounting, Commerce, and Economy & Industry. Upon graduation, students pursue careers with accounting firms, at research organizations, at think tanks, or in a wide range of business settings. In order to attract a diverse range of excellent students, this department has a special division that welcomes people who already have relevant employment.
